Critter Tracks
My wife and I took a tour through the woods near our home, in the Ocala National Forest. She had just purchased our first digital camera, so we headed out to see what we could see. Since it had rained the day before, the sand that comprises most of the land around here was in perfect shape for preserving animal tracks, and we found a wealth of them. As soon as she learned a little about what to look for, she was spotting tracks faster than I was!
Below is an index of links to some of these images, with notes about what they are and what to look for. Hopefully this will help you recognize what you're seeing the next time you hit the woods, and should at least provide some interesting viewing.
Below the list of thumbnails & links you'll find an interesting sample of our work. I've only included thumbnails for a few of the images, not all of 'em.

Here we find a classic example of a wife track, directly atop the track of a mature tire. We can safely assume that the wife passed here at some time after the tire did.
