Frosty
Morning Hunt - 8/07/03
A cold morning in Georgia, a warm-blooded hunter, and a buck deer. What
do they all have in common? They met, unforgettably, one chilly November morning.
One
Man's Legacy - 7/30/03
A man could do worse than helping a young hunter find his way... but I can't
imagine one doing better. This is dedicated to a man who helped me learn how
to be a man, a better hunter, and a friend.

A tale of some exciting hog hunting in Florida, including spearing a 400+
pound hog AT NIGHT! There were shotgun, rifle, spear, and knife kills on this
intense hunt hosted by Slaughter Brothers Wild Hog Hunts, in cooperation with
USSA.
Letter
From an Anti - 7/10/03
As the Hunting/Shooting Guide, I get a lot of Email - from enthusiastic
atta-boys to hate-filled messages from people who vehemently wish for my death.
My latest notable Email is from a gal who'd rather see people killed than animals.
I ain't kidding! So I decided to share this little peek at the warped thinking
of an anti-hunter with you fine folks, along with my response. I hope you enjoy
it!

My nephew Rusty and I had always been fairly close, and we'd hunted together
for years. Now it was time for his first hog hunt, and he was up to the challenge
- a hunt both exciting and fulfilling for everyone involved. First with a rifle
and then with dogs and a knife, my nephew proved his mettle while we all shared
the thrill of victory!

- Hunting's Best Short Stories - 5/14/03

Who
are Hunters? - 3/19/03
Who are hunters, and what do they do for wildlife, habitat, and folks who
don't even hunt? A lot. Through things like a ten-to-eleven percent excise tax
on guns and ammunition, American hunters foot the bill for projects that benefit
millions of non-hunters across the USA... and they're very likely your neighbors
and co-workers.

monster taken down with my Sig pistol -- it just don't get no better than this!
