Lasergrips
Advantages of laser sights include rapid target acquisition, accurate
low-light sighting, sighting with both eyes open, and the mental edge
of that red dot dancing across any assailant's ribcage.
To sight in, adjust to match the iron sights' point of aim at an
optimum distance. The farther out you "zero" the laser,
the closer to parallel the laser will be in relation to your bore.
Fine-tune at the range.
One thing I noticed was that any tremble in my hand showed up noticeably
on the target. This shows the advantages of taking a rest, or that
your grip and/or stance could use some work.
For hunting, a Lasergrip for Ruger's Super Blackhawk
.44 Remington Magnum revolver is in the works. Lasergrips can deliver
the package to a deer accurately, and would be excellent in a situation
where you might have to fire quickly.
