Guide Review

Gotta Love This Coat
When the folks at PrimaLoft asked me to review a product made with their insulation, I was tickled at the chance. Out of the choices I was given, only the Cabela's Ventile Field Coat was available in tall size (which I need). I'm now glad I chose it - during the test period, it proved to be useful, comfortable, and warm - and good-looking to boot. I sure did hate to send it back! Why doesn't anyone make a coat this good in camo? Maybe they do and I just haven't found it yet.
A coat this nice should have been designed with a reversible zipper, so it could be opened from above or below. Regardless of that, this is a great coat and I recommend it without hesitation. It was plenty warm in cold weather, but not too warm to wear in cool weather.
