Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA)
This is the official Web site for the ATA. Hamilton Rod & Gun Club
Located in Sturbridge, MA, this is a place you can target shoot, hunt, fish, or just enjoy being outdoors. Hunter's Shooting Association
These folks are a "sport shooting organization devoted solely to improving hunter's field marksmanship skills." Hunting & Shooting Sports Heritage Foundation (HSSHF)
The Hunting & Shooting Sports Heritage Foundation was formed to "'...create a sustainable environment for the shooting sports in America.' The concept was expanded to legal defense later in 1998 in response to politically motivated lawsuits against the industry." International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA)

The National Association of Shooting Sports Athletes. Designed to coach junior shooters to become Olympic-class athletes. National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association (NMLRA)
A black-powder shooters' group. They say they exist "to promote, support, nurture, and preserve our nation's rich historical heritage in the sport of muzzleloading through recreational, educational, historical, and cultural venues such as match competition, hunting, gun making and safety, historical re-enactments, exhibits, museums, libraries, and other related programs." National Rifle Association (NRA)
Founded in 1871, this organization of U.S. patriots was begun in order to provide safety and marksmanship training to the general public. Nowadays, they seem to spend a lot of time collecting money and misleading gun owners... but they do have a hand in many organized shooting sports in the USA. National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF)
National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) is the trade association for the firearms and recreational shooting sports industry. They say their purpose is to provide trusted leadership in addressing industry challenges and delivering programs and services to meet the needs of [their] members by advancing participation in and understanding of the hunting and shooting sports. National Skeet Shooting Association (NSSA)
The NSSA are the folks to go to, to learn more about skeet shooting - whether you're looking for info on competitive shoots, or simply new to the sport. United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA)
