An Olympic Veteran Shooter:

Rebecca Snyder, or Beki, has competed in Olympic pistol events for more than ten years, competing in 1996, 2000, 2004, and 2008. As of August, 2008 she had yet to win a medal, but in 2008 Olympic trials she placed first in both Sport Pistol and 10m Air Pistol, and those are not her first wins.

Beki is clearly a skilled shooter. Here's hoping that and her will to win can carry her to Olympic victory.

From Canada to Colorado:

Beki was born in Alberta, Canada, in 1976. She now hails from Grand Junction, Colorado, USA. She enjoys snowboarding and has a black belt in TaeKwonDo.

Beki's Olympic Record:

In 1996, Beki placed 30th in Air Pistol. In 2000, she moved up to 25th in that event and placed 9th in Sport Pistol. In 2004 she was 19th in Air Pistol and 22nd in Sport Pistol.

In 2008, she ended in 41st place in Women's 10m Air Pistol, and 28th in Women's 25m Pistol.
