Good to know. I next fired a Mossberg slug gun on a Shoulder Gard Rifle Rest, built by MTM Case-Gard. This nifty shooting rest has a nylon sling that helps transfer recoil through the rest and onto the shooting bench, rather than dumping it all onto your shoulder. An internal compartment for adding weight allows for taking almost all the recoil out shooting a rifle or shotgun. Pretty cool.
