AK-47 Safety Lever, Ready to be Cut
AK-47 Safety Lever, Ready to be Cut
This was easy for me, as I already had a rotary tool (an imitation Dremel) and a suitable cutoff wheel. You may want to use a vise to hold the lever securely, but I just did it all by hand.
  1. Decide Whether or Not to Cut Your AK's Selector (Safety) Lever
  2. Mark Your Lever
  3. Gather Your Tools
  4. Make Initial Cuts and Try it Out
  5. Finish Cutting the Notch
  6. Test it Again
  7. Make Final Changes
  8. Blue it
  9. Install and Enjoy!
