Remove Bolt From Carrier
Removing bolt from carrier. The tapered lug is now clear of the groove in the carrier, and it is ready to move forward (in the photo, left = forward) and out of the carrier.
Turn the bolt carrier assembly upside-down. Slide the bolt rearward in the carrier. It will rotate and when the tapered bolt lug is aligned with the slot in the receiver, turn the bolt so the lug clears the slot, and slide it forward and out of the carrier.

- Remove Cleaning Rod
