Here you can see the rifle before and after the Perma Fin and stock refinishing project. The stock was finished using Lin-Speed, and I made a point of giving it a satin finish. I will talk more about the stock in another article.
As this composite photo shows, the gun looks a whole lot nicer now than it used to. Subsequent photos will also show how good it looks after the Perma Fin was applied.
You may notice that the barrel bands are installed in reverse in these images. I'm not sure there's a right or wrong way to install these bands - I just decided to put the screw heads on the left side of the gun, since that's the way they were on Dad's old 94.
