Precise ProTection
In my review of ProTec's
pump spray oil and nitro solvent, I mentioned my preference
for a precise applicator -- and here it is. Both the oil and grease
can be applied precisely using these syringes. They
take a little getting used to, and you have to learn to exert only
a little pressure, and to pull the plunger back to prevent it from
continuing to squirt out -- kind of like a caulking gun. This is
easily mastered, as it's just a matter of using some common sense.
These are both fine lubricants, and as my previous
review stated, the oil is a good protectant. I haven't had the chance
to test the protective properties of the grease, but since the basic
ingredient is the same, I'm reasonably sure it will work as well
as the oil.
