Pump Spray ProTection
ProTec has been around for over twenty years, which speaks well
of their staying power -- they're no flash-in-the-pan company.
At this time, I don't have the time nor the means
to comprehensively test lubricity -- I must go by my own experience.
I first tried GUNoil in cleaning
black powder guns, and it did well preventing corrosion. Lubricity
was good, and I had no rust problems. ProTec GUNoil is a good lube
and protectant. I didn't find time to test the claims of more velocity
and less heat, but it stands to reason that a good lube, properly
applied, will do so.
ProTec BOREcleaner worked well cleaning my guns, and the pump spray
is great. It's a good grade nitro solvent, and the pump surely beats
plain bottles with screw-off caps -- though you can use it that
way, too.
