More Great Reading From Ruark
This book followed The
Old Man and the Boy, capitalizing on its success. While, like
many sequels, it lacks the full flavor of the original, it still comes
through with classic Ruark style, brimming with the wisdom of the
Old Man. One could say that Ruark himself should have taken that wisdom
more to heart, for his hard living brought his life to a premature
end at just 49 years of age. Published eight years before his death,
The Old Man's Boy Grows Older is a don't-miss recounting of
some great times from his youth with his grandfather. |
