New Orleans, Here I am

Well, folks, I made it! Here I am in the Big Easy, also known as New Orleans, Louisiana. While I'm sure you are more interested in the hunting and shooting goodies I will soon be checking out at the SHOT Show (per your requests) than you are in the details of my travel, I thought I'd let you know how things are going so far - especially since the Show doesn't start until tomorrow.
I'm sure the forum regulars have noticed that I so far haven't missed a beat in there - thanks to my generosity to myself in purchasing a notebook computer (perhaps this was misguided - surely I could have gotten a gun or two for less outlay of cash). So, to show you all that I'm laboring from afar in a lonely hotel room, here is a lovely (?) picture as proof:

I hope to be bringing you much more exciting material by tomorrow night, or Friday at the latest. Call this a warm-up, with better things to come.
I will be meeting tonight with some folks I've been corresponding with for a few months, regarding some exciting new corrosion prevention technology. Hopefully one result of this will be that I can tell you a little bit about what they've been cooking up for us hunters and shooters.
Well, I must sign off for now. I'll be back as soon as I get a chance to give you an update on my experiences at the Show, and at large in New Orleans.
