Manufacturers of Chronographs & Timers

Chronograph and timer manufacturers' Web sites. Some ballistics software, too.
Competition Electronics
These folks make the ProChrono line of chronographs, as well as a couple of shooting competition timers.
Oehler Research, Inc.
Ken Oehler apparently invented the chronograph as we know it today. They also offer a "Personal Ballistic Laboratory," which measures "internal chamber pressures, instrumental velocity, muzzle velocity, ballistic coefficient (B.C.), point of impact, group size, wind deflection, downrange energy, time of flight, drop, etc."
PACT
These folks make chronys, timers, scales, and powder dispensers. Here's the best part: "All PACT products feature a real simple no BS warranty. If it breaks we'll fix it free, no matter if you bought it from us, your friend or at a garage sale."
RSI
Recreational Software, Inc. offers a software and chronograph combo, to "Model rifle & handgun trajectories, analyze ammo velocity, load density and bullet drag or stability... keep load and firearm records, maintain shooting logs, analyze targets and more with RSI's Shooting Lab software and the CED Millennium Chronograph."
Shooting Chrony
These folks say their product "measures the speed of bullets, arrows, shotgun & airgun pellets, paintballs, et cetera, from 30/fps. to 7000/fps. and with better than 99.5% accuracy." It folds up - kinda neat. I bought one several years ago, and I love it. The only problem I've had muzzle blast knocking the sky screens loose. But it held up when a friend shot one of the uprights with my 44 magnum!
