I read this book while deer hunting in 2012, and found it worthwhile. Even though I can be a stickler sometimes and the author's terminology is sometimes anything but precise, when I got to the end I wished it would have kept going - and that is one large measure of a book's worth. I found valuable insight on several subjects, and I recommend this book. Here's a small taste of the review:
"One of my favorite outtakes from the book is Shepard's observation that instead of 'Guns don't kill people, people kill people,' a more fitting quote would be 'Guns protect the people that people try to kill...'"
