Before You Buy a Used Rifle

Buying something that's already been owned and used has some risks - but most of the time, the rewards are greater. Second-hand stuff is also easier to afford. That's why most of my buying of anything that even approaches a "major" purchase usually involves buying used items. It saves money, and sometimes you even get a better product because a previous owner ironed out all the kinks before you got it. Of course, that's not always the case and you could end up with a lemon, but that could happen when buying new, also. And that's where this article can come in handy, in helping you learn what to look for, what questions to ask, etc.
