My ongoing coverage of the rifle I built last year continues with part 7, which covers the stock. I wound up choosing a laminated wood stock, and I couldn't be happier with the result. I put in a lot of work altering, bedding, and finishing it, but in the end I have a near-perfect fit and a rifle that looks very good indeed. Join me as I start at the day I ordered the stock and smoothly work my way right up until the finish is complete - and then changes color.
