One major part of my overhaul of the ratty old military Mauser was modifying the bolt handle. The original straight handle was no good for sporting use, as it precluded conventional scope mounting and was just a pain to use. What to do? Well, the answer turned out to go something like this: Cut, bend, cut off, weld, break, bend, re-weld, bend, bend, bend, file, file, file, rough polish with emery cloth. See the article for details.
