I read this book during several trips to the woods on a fall deer hunt, and it was worthwhile. It has a few shortcomings, but offers more good than bad - and after I finished it I found myself wanting more. Yes, the author has some strange ideas and doesn't know a bullet from a cartridge from a "tip" - but in the end I decided that the book offers some valuable insight on a number of subjects.
