The first time I hunted deer in the rain was many moons ago, and I guess something about it stuck with me. Maybe it's just my tenacious side that keeps me in the woods instead of hanging around at camp. See, my hunting time is limited - plus I love to hunt. So when I have the chance to hunt deer in the rain, there's at least an even chance that I'll at least slide on out there and try to find a semi-dry place to hunker and see what shows up.
