I picked up this pistol in a swap last year, making it my first Glock. It may also be my last... I just can't love a Glock. But this is a pretty good popper, and has some good points to consider. It's a single-stack 45, which makes it slimmer than many guns while still offering a pretty good punch. Check out the review and see what you think!

Your bad: using space to say at least three times that you “can’t love the Glock.” I’d say others agree that you also spent too much space on describing the already well known appearance of the Glock design.

When I chose my first handgun in years, it turned out to be the ‘baby Glock” design: for conceal-ability. The ugliness, IMO, adds to the impression potential attackers get. You’re telling them: I’m one mean, ugly so-and-so and I mean business.

Usability trumps beauty: and in small handguns the disadvantage of less control and short sight radius are the main drawbacks. But then, small guns are intended for distances of around 12 feet, they are not varmint rifles. My 7-1/2 in bbl. Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 mag. will reach out to 100yds and punch holes in a 11-ounce coffee can. But 4-inch barreled semi-autos are only good to about 4 yards.

I agree though: the Glock design isn’t “comfortable” for me and makes it hard to train for greater accuracy.
