Should I Shoot a Scoped Rifle With Both Eyes Open?

This is a good question. It's most natural to close one eye when sighting a gun, because seeing the sights from two different angles tends to boggle the brain... but some folks say that keeping 'em both open is the best bet, and helps you get on target with a scope more quickly. Which way is the right way?
