When it comes to gun cleaning, I have very few biases, and if you're a regular reader of my articles you know that I'm not one to spend money (or recommend that others do so) unless I think a product is worthwhile. Could be that I'm a cheapskate. But this gun cleaning mat is a good thing, and works great for gun cleaning and as a photography backdrop.
I'm as stingy with my solvents and oils as I am with my cash, so I use them sparingly and try to avoid spills, but a friend of mine uses one of these mats all the time and he says he almost has to wring his out when he's done, it's so wet - but all of the spills are contained in the mat.
