Review: Birchwood-Casey Perma Fin Gun Finish

A couple weeks back, I published an article about refinishing a rifle at home. I used a product called Perma Fin on that gun, and if you checked out the photos, you know the rifle turned out pretty nice.
But it wasn't all as smooth as silk - I had my problems with the project. Also, that article didn't give me the opportunity to say everything about Perma Fin that needed to be said... so, here's a review of Birchwood-Casey Perma Fin. It's a pretty cool product for do-it-yourself gun work.

Speaking of Birchwood-Casey, Russ, please talk about RIG gun oil, one of my favorite products, that is now out of production since the parent company was sold and the product discontinued. It seems Birchwood-Casey has bought the rights to the formula and will be producing RIG again. When, I don’t know. RIG, however, is a great product for firearms.
Russ,
I’ve always liked B-C products, but you have to look carefully at what you are trying to do, and see if it fits in with your project.
Nice site, looking forward to commenting on it more.

Albert
