Modern Muzzleloader Cleaning
Tuesday March 18, 2008
The guns I cleaned for this article aren't exactly modern, but the stuff I cleaned them with is. Worked pretty dang well, too! All it took was some Shooter's Choice gel, some Gibbs Brand lube, some ProTec gun oil, and some time.

I have been shooting Black Powder competition since I was 10yrs old (now 40) and the best and inexpensive thing I have ever stumbled across is ( now get this) the straight blue windex glass cleaner and I have used it in the primitive and inline muzzel loaders and wont change, just be sure to finish up with an oil patch when your done.
