This is a list that causes strife among readers... some can't abide that Marlin gets three mentions, while Winchester only gets one. They fail to consider that Marlin still makes three distinct lines of lever guns, and Winchester makes none! Anyhow, most of these lever guns are still being made today. Don't know for now much longer, though, what with Remington poised to buy Marlin. I sure hope Marlin stays on track and keeps on building good guns after this deal goes through.
