Just in time for the holidays, here's a review of a bird "hunting" game which you may - or may not - want to buy for that special sportsman on your Christmas list. It provides lots of action and a good variety of game, doesn't represent hunting very much at all, and can be fun to play with friends. All in all, not a bad way to spend some time (I've certainly done worse), but is it worth the $30 price tag? Read the review to find out what I think.

Last year, while shucking out the two deer mentioned below, these knife blades came to mind. I went ahead and dug them out of my pack, along with my Rhino knife. Last year, I got my biggest buck to date. After four days of hard hunting, during which I had seen a total of two deer and one gray blur, I saw twelve deer in the woods, and brought two of them home with me. The morning hunt brought me a nice 8-point buck, and about an hour before dark I added a 130-pound doe to the bag. It was a nice change, being the windshield instead of the bug. ;-)

If you're anything like me, you hate to pay a high price for something when you can get something about as good for less. Well, in the case of the Pelican 1750, that didn't happen. I did a good bit of comparison and arrived at the conclusion that it was about the best value I could find... but it isn't perfect.
